Some Favorite Film Scores, Vol. 1

Lately I have been thinking about movies of the 1990s with scores that have affected me deeply. Music has always been as much a part of my life as movies have been. Here are six examples:

“Ice Dance” from Edward Scissorhands (1990) – Danny Elfman

“A Reversal of Fortune” from Reversal of Fortune (1990) – Mark Isham

“Love Remembered” from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) – Wojciech Kilar

“Mina/Dracula” from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) – Wojciech Kilar

Main theme from The Usual Suspects (1995) – John Ottman

Title track from The English Patient (1996) – Gabriel Yared
